A New Blog...

Scotch Ales are strong pale ales which are believed to have originated in Edinburgh in the 19th century, these ales are also known as a "Wee Heavy". They just happen to be some of my favorite beers.

I've been lurking in the blogosphere for a while now, drawn here by food related websites and ending up at some very interesting and well designed blogs. It didn't take me long before I thought about starting my own but it has taken me, more than a few, months to actually do it, and finally here it is.

This blog will not be all about scotch ales or beer, A Wee Heavy will be about some of things in life that I enjoy most, good beer, great food, fun restaurants and random adventure.
